Only a few days until Halloween! If everything falls into place just right I'll be in America's spookiest city for it... NEW ORLEANS! Yeaaaah. Voodoo. Vampires. Candle lit Cafes. Gris Gris Gumbo ya ya. Anne rice is just spooky enough as a person. Speaking of spooky how about some great spooky pictures I've found. I didn't make any of these...

Dressed for Success
It's my favorite time of year and it's ending very quickly. All the seasons feel like they are flying by since I've been out of Savannah. It doesn't mean my brain hasn't gone through its normal and much welcomed autumn changes. I have a stronger desire for biscuits and gravy, and Evan Williams brand bourbon egg nog. I can't stop listening to good ol' mountain music and Van Morrison. (moon dance specifically. the album not just the song) Nothing is better than a bonfire and its equally as nice to get cuddly as it is to be completely alone. To follow tradition I've been working on what I hope will be a totally bad ass Halloween costume for this year. Pictures will come soon but lets take a moment to reflect on my previous Halloween costumes. Come with me on a journey down Halloween memory lane...
BLOG IS BACK. My art blog is backlogged, but I've been turnin' the cogs because these posts are older than Werner Herzog. hehahh. Reminds me of Bob Loblaws Law Blog.
Anyway. For those that don't know I've been doing interior Artwork/muraling/installation/concept stuff for Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers. A fine establishment. So I'll be posting a lot of what I've been working on. Its not exactly my top choice of subject matter or a proper representation of my artistic Genius but it's a good livin' and a good time.

Bweeeaahh. Oh man... I hate librarians. Sorry mom, not you. People who work in the library with their talking leaves... and when they get a class to talk to.. well they just go the fuck crazy. They talk for hours about full text articles and chicago trade format.. I'm sorry ladies.. nobody cares. By the way... ART!

So guys. Post two. Here it is. Just got out of class. This marks the end of week 5 for my quarter here at SCAD. Meaning I have 5 more to go and then that's that for college. Spooky. Heres just some sketches I've been doing. My redesigned nautilus. Much cuter than before. It's like a marlan now.. or a penguin, or a very fat shrimp. Below that we got some stuff for a halarious mountain man super/folk hero. Inspired by the great Trapper's Cabin among other people. I want a banjo rifle. The fifth string is attached to the trigger so whenever he plucks it... kabam! Makes playing foggy mountain break down tricky... but his shows are always a...... BLAST?! haaaaaaaaaaa

First post and some fishy new art
Mmmmm. Feels good to have a blog on a rainy Tuesday. At least it's a first for me and those seem hard to come by lately. Because I'm bored. Always. Even when I'm not I am. My life feels like the beginning of a movie where the main character is down on his luck and frustrated and his boss yells at him and the scientific community thinks he's a joke and at night he looks out of the window of his shitty apartment and there's a voiceover that's all "I know I'm meant for something greater than all this!" But its the part in the movie where I'm about to meet the old man that's going to tell me about the research my father did, or the map hidden in my DNA, or maybe show me the lost schematics for this AMAZING SUBMARINE!!!
